ABOUT THE ADOS-2 TRAINERS

Lucy Sanctuary
Certified ADOS-2 Trainer

Ruth Fine
ADOS-2 Trainer in training
About Us
We are both Speech & Language Therapists, who specialise in autism, and work exclusively with autistic children, through the lifespan, covering all ages, and their families.

ADOS-2
We are part of multi-disciplinary teams that carry out autism assessments, and we train people to administer the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd edition) as part of the assessment process.
Therapy
Lucy provides family focused, adapted Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for neurodivergent young people and their families. Ruth is currently doing a Diploma on Autism and Mental Health.
Further services
We provide post diagnostic support,
supervision and we have just launched a multidisciplinary professionals network group.
We both believe strongly in equality, diversity and inclusion, and we are deeply committed to what we do.

“Thank you both so much it has been such a wonderful learning experience in terms of the structure, content, materials shared, pacing and didactic versus experiential learning. You both have such a lovely style, and I have learned so much in these 3 days, thank you!””

“Lucy and Ruth were amazing! So clear and answered all our questions. You are both super engaging and appreciated hearing your personal experiences of delivering the ADOS-2 and
of neurodiversity.”
Where did we meet?
We might not agree on this, but it was about 10 years ago. Not only are we both nerds, who share a passion for neurodivergence, but we have a similar sense of humour and a shared love of sticky treacle pudding and cinnamon buns. It is wonderful to work with someone who shares your beliefs, and commitment to increasing understanding and reducing stigma about neurodivergence, and makes you laugh.
SIMILARITIES
